For some that don't understand Hawaiian words. Here are some translation. 
Hana Pa'a : in Hawaiian it means:Hook up,Stuck, to make secure, fasten.
Ume : Lures                                                       Aku: Skipjack
Lou : Hook                                                          Ahi: Tuna
Wa'a :  canoe or boat                                 Au: Marlin
Malie: calm water                                       Ono: Whaoo
Lawai'a: Fisherman                                   Malolo: flying fishes
I'a: Fish                                                                  Palu: Fish Chum                                                                  
Hi aku: Troll for Fish
Ku: fish God
